- The processing time is up to 4 business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Public holidays.
- For Sri Lanka Tourist and Business eVisa, the validity is 6 months from the date of visa approval with Double Entry, maximum stay of 60 days per entry in Sri Lanka.
- Visitors need to make their first entry within 3 months from the issue date.

- Nationals of Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Syria, and North Korea are required to apply for a visa through the Sri Lankan embassy or the Department of Immigration & Emigration, Sri Lanka.
- Nationals of Kosovo are eligible for Visa On Arrival only.
- On the basis of reciprocity, citizens of The Republic of Singapore, The Republic of Maldives, The Republic of Seychelles, and The Czech Republic are exempt from the requirement of obtaining a tourist standard 6 months eVisa to visit Sri Lanka.
- All nationals are eligible for an eVisa waiver if transiting from any of the Sri Lankan airports. The waiver is valid for a 2-day transit period only.
Eligibility
- International Travellers whose sole objective of visiting Sri Lanka is recreation, sightseeing, casual visit to meet friends or relatives, short duration medical treatment, or casual business visit.
- The passport should have at least three (3) blank pages and 6 months validity from arrival in India for being stamped by the Immigration Officers.
Non-Eligibility
- Not available for Diplomatic/Official Passport Holders or Laissez-passer Travel Document Holders.
- Not available for International Travel Document Holders.
